Bachelor of Science in Biology with concentration in Pre-Professional

Students interested in continuing their education in a professional school such as medical or dental school following graduation have a path to those options through LSUA. Within the Department of Biological Sciences, students are able to follow a pre-professional path for dental, medicine, optometry, pharmacy, physician’s assistant, and veterinary medicine. Students will gain the knowledge needed to be successfully admitted to the professional school of their choice to continue their education.
