Louisiana State University of Alexandria and Louisiana State University at Eunice signed a Memorandum of Understanding this morning to establish a 2+2 business program.

The MOU seeks to provide assistance to students transferring to LSUA who have earned an Associate of Applied Science in Management or Associate of Arts Louisiana Transfer degree (with business concentration) from LSUE. These students that meet LSUA’s admission requirements will be able to transfer 60 credit hours of work and be enrolled in the College of Business’s Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

“Today is another great day for LSUA,” said Dr. Paul Coreil, LSUA Chancellor. “As we continue to find ways to make higher education more accessible for all, the 2+2 program with LSUE is another tremendous step.”

“These innovative transfer initiatives are the pathway for first generation and underserved students to access careers at the baccalaureate level that transform their lives and our local economy,” said Dr. Nancee Sorenson, LSUE Chancellor.

To ensure all 60 credits transfer, a curriculum guide has been created for LSUE students for both the AAS Management and LTAA programs.

“This agreement will ensure a more seamless process for our students to transfer to the College of Business,” said Dr. Randall Dupont, Dean of the LSUA College of Business.
