Louisiana State University of Alexandria was just recently ranked as one of the most affordable online colleges in the country. The most recent report ranked LSUA 10th in the nation for its online programs.
The ranking was released by Online Schools Report, a new authority in online education data.
“We are extremely proud of this national recognition especially during the current state, and the global challenges students are facing. As a national leader in online programs, LSUA is in a much better position to transition all face-to-face classes to an online format during the current COVID-19 Pandemic. The quality of the student learning experience during this required shift due to the virus will maximize student success and minimize any disruption students may be experiencing during these uncertain times,” said Dr. Paul Coreil, LSUA Chancellor.
Online Schools Report synthesizes data from the National Center for Education Statistics, the Bureau of Labor Statics, Payscale, and the College Scorecard. Ultimately, colleges are scored based on their commitment to online education, admission rates, student satisfaction, alumni debt, and specialty in the program in question.
