ALEXANDRIA – LSUA recently received national recognition for its online General Studies program. OnlineSchoolsReport named LSUA number seven (7) in the country for the program.
According to OnlineSchoolsReport, six data points are used to score each program. These points range from statistics within the actual degree program and school-wide.
“We are so excited about this honor as we know the General Studies degree is a great option for students with some college but no degree. The electives and transfer credits accepted result in students graduating more quickly, with less debt,” said Teresa Seymour, Director of Distance Learning
The General Studies program provides a well-rounded, versatile education that prepares students for a career in a variety of fields. Classes are taken in all major areas of math, science, English and art.
“It is important to consult with an advisor to determine the best option based on your long range plans, but the General Studies degree can open many doors in Education, Business, Social Sciences, and Health Care,” Seymour said.
