LSUA's 2019 Undergraduate Humanities Conference (UHC) will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 in Mulder Hall 147. The goal of the conference is to provide a dynamic forum for undergraduates to preset academic papers, interact with faculty and fellow students, and gain the experience necessary for presenting in a larger setting.

3:50pm Session (Chaucer)
Victoria Bloodworth: "Courtly Love in the Knight's Tale"
Morgan Primeaux: "Ironic Use of Physiognomic Characterization"
Carli Smith: "Narrative Structure and Implications for Female Characterization in The Canterbury Tales"
A certification of participation will be awarded to each presenter and a $100 cash prize will be awarded to each presenter of the best two papers.
