Field Biology Student Workers Wanted

Looking for 1 or 2 student workers interested in helping with field work on student research projects.  Students must be full-time students and have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.0.  Work hours may vary weekly depending on what field work is occurring at any point.  Work may include live trapping and handling small mammals, telemetry, vegetation measurements, setting and checking turtle traps, and more.  Student workers must be available for work at odd hours including afternoons, early mornings, weekends, and possibly occasional nights.  Preference will be given to students in the Organismal and Field Biology concentration and those with some previous field experience, but no previous experience is required.  Applicants should be in good physical condition and able to work for several hours in the field.  Tolerance for field conditions that will range from wet, cold, and muddy to hot, humid, and chiggers is required.  Nearly all of this work will be outdoors.

Rate of pay:  $10 per hour
