Transfer Admission Requirements

 

Associate DegreeTransferrable Associate Degree (e.g., A.A., A.S., A.A.S or higher)
-or-OR

Minimum College-Level Academic Hours Earned and GPA

All course hours must come from a regionally accredited college or university.

 

18 non-developmental credit hours + 2.0 GPA or greater

 

And, student must have completed a college-level English and a college-level Mathematics course designed to fulfill general education requirements, with a grade ≥ "C" in both.

Bridge Program

(LSUE and CLTCC only)

From LSUE or CLTCC Bridge Program, minimum 12 college-level transferrable credit hours, including English and mathematics, with the corresponding minimum grade and GPA as listed above. 
-or-OR
Freshman Student + Good StandingMeet Freshmen admission requirements + be in good standing with the previous college or university.

On- Campus Application Deadlines:
Fall Semester: August 1; Document Deadline: August 12th
Spring Semester: December 1
Summer Semester: May 1

Applicants requesting an exception to the deadline must do so in writing to the Associate Vice-Chancellor of Enrollment Management, Shelly Gill, at admissions@lsua.edu.

With the exception of high school students participating in dual enrollment, on-campus applications submitted after August 1st should expect a delayed admission decision. Admission decisions for submitted and paid applications will resume on September 3rd. 100% online applicants have separate deadlines which can be found here.
