Remember that colleges look at all courses you take in high school. It is easy to get off track during your senior year due to social activities and extracurricular activities. Studying hard your senior year will pay off!
Take the ACT or SAT, then take it again
The ACT is one of the most single important tests you can take that will determine where you go to college and what scholarships you are eligible to receive. Take it, then take it some more. Be sure to send LSUA your scores! Our school code is 1589. If you are struggling with scores, be sure to contact your Admissions Counselor who can give you options for alternative tests!

APPLY
Once you apply to LSUA, you are assigned an Admissions Counselor who will work with you throughout the admissions process. Your counselor will determine what documentation is needed to complete your file and will be your point of contact throughout the year.

Stay focused and stay on track with college prep courses while in high school. Each state names this core differently. In Louisiana, this is the TOPS University Diploma track. Students must graduate with this diploma to be admissible to a four-year university!

School Activities, Get Involved!
It is important to be involved in various extra-curricular activities within your high school or community. These activities could include sports, clubs, organizations, and volunteering. Being involved allows you the opportunity for scholarships in the future. Go ahead and start a list of activities you participate in so you don’t forget a single activity!
