MLS Program Resources

 

Once admitted to the program (from admissions letter) students can begin classes. The documentation below is not required to take the courses, but all are required prior to starting clinical training/competency checklists for program accreditation and liability purposes.

 

Upon admission to the MLT-MLS Program, the following should be reviewed and completed. 

1.  Purchase Exam Simulator 

Students are required to purchase the Media Lab C.E. Exam Simulator (MLS, MLT) and CE (MLT/MLS). The cost is $130 for 12-month access.

    1. From LSUA bookstore OR  Directly from MediaLab http://www.labce.com
    2. Select BOTH CE for MLS/MLT AND Exam Simulator for MLS/MLT
    3. Enter PROMO CODE: LSUESCOMBO
    4. Login, go to profile page, select to pair your account to LSUA: Account number is 123520

2. Purchase Access to CastleBranch (for compliance documentation)

 

3.  Submit Affiliation Agreement to Program Director, Dr. Cathy Robinson, crobinson@lsua.edu

Affiliation Agreement (note: GUILD students will have this already submitted)

 

4.  View and Complete Videos and Assessment in Moodle

Watch Safety videos and complete Quiz with a score of at least 70%
