Bachelor of Arts in English

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English degree will master the ability to write in a variety of genres and to read and interpret a variety of texts, both literary and literal. Our students have numerous opportunities to write poetry, fiction, drama, and creative non-fiction as well as have their work published in on- and off-campus publications. Students will also study literary genres within the context of literary history, literary theory, and the history of ideas. Our students go on to a variety of professional schools and careers.
