Welcome to the LSUA Student Government — led by Student Body President Sophia Scully, this organization represents the student body and works to make sure student voices are heard. Through leadership, service, and campus involvement, they help shape policies and improve student life at LSU of Alexandria.
Message from the President
It is with sincere gratitude and excitement that I assume the role of Student Government President at Louisiana State University of Alexandria. LSUA truly means the world to me. This campus has shaped me into the person I am today, providing countless opportunities to learn, grow, and serve in ways I never imagined. From my work as an ambassador to my role in Facilities Services, as well as the many other capacities in which I have had the privilege to serve, I have experienced firsthand the dedication, heart, and family spirit that make LSUA so remarkable.
This is an extraordinary time to be a part of LSUA. As the fastest-growing university in the state, we are moving forward with energy, purpose, and pride. Our growth is not measured solely in numbers—it reflects the strength of our community, the passion of our students, and the commitment of the people who make LSUA feel like home.
As your Student Government President, my foremost priority is to ensure that students are heard. I am committed to listening to your needs, concerns, and ideas, and allowing them to guide the work of our student government. Every student deserves to feel supported, valued, and included, and I will dedicate myself to ensuring your voices help shape the future of our campus.

The SG Offices are in the Student Union, across the sidewalk from the student bookstore.
Office Hours
We have classes and meetings, so our hours aren't guaranteed. Yet during the afternoon hours there's almost always someone here. If we're in the office, come see us!
