My student received an email about a conduct meeting.
We do not hold students accountable without providing them the chance to meet with us and explain the situation. If the student does not schedule a meeting, we will move forward with a decision based on the information that we have.
For more information on the Conduct process, please see the Community Guide for current year.
We do not like to fine students; however, there are some situations that it is the best option. Fines can be issued for a variety of reasons, but the most common are trash/littering or failure to comply with a housing conduct sanction.
Fines can be paid through the student's Self-Service Account on MyLSUA.
When a student withdraws from LSUA, they have 24 hours to move out of on-campus housing. They will not officially be out of the apartment until they have checked with our staff and returned keys.
We strongly encourage any student struggling with roommates to reach out to us as soon as the issues begin. This allows the largest number of options to resolve the issues. We can help with mediating the conversation and working out roommate agreements that we can hep with enforcing.
