Official transcripts or test scores must be sent directly from the institution or agency awarding the credit or score.
Students can receive transfer credits for a variety of reasons. LSUA will make every effort to award students transfer credit from approved methods to help our students reach their educational goals most effectively.
Admitted students can view their transcript evaluation through the Self-Service portal once they have registered for classes. An LSUA transcript cannot be released unless it contains LSU Alexandria courses.
Students who were enrolled in one or more dual enrollment classes through a regionally accredited college/university while still in high school are required to provide an official transcript from that institution. Transcripts are required regardless of whether credit was earned.
Official transcripts must be requested from the original institution(s). LSUA participates in E-Script Safe and can send or receive transcripts electronically. Official transcripts must come directly to LSUA from the original institution either by mail or electronically, or in a sealed (unopened) envelope.
Financial aid cannot be processed until all official transcripts are received. Official transcripts must be received by the first day of class or admission will be cancelled.
