Students can receive transfer credits for a variety of reasons. LSUA will make every effort to award students transfer credit from regionally accredited schools, approved testing agencies, military experience, ACE credits, or other approved methods in a manner that is consistent with transfer procedures and that helps the student reach their educational goals in the most direct way.
Official transcripts or test scores must be sent directly from the institution or agency awarding the credit or score.
Evaluation of transcripts will occur as transcripts are received. Processing will be done in the order in which files are complete. Admitted students will be able to view their transcript evaluation through the Self-Service portal once they have registered for classes. A LSUA transcript cannot be released unless it contains LSU Alexandria courses.

(This is a work in progress. Most courses here are from out-of-state schools. In-state courses are currently in a separate database and are being moved to this searchable site. We expect to have the in-state courses fully available by July 1, 2013.)
Course Transfer Information (Click link to access searchable database)
Instructions: Find your home institution, click the arrow to the left of the school name to expand. Click the year that you took the course. Courses that have already been evaluated will show in the list and will indicate how LSU Alexandria will transfer that specific course. Courses with asterisks (*) in the course number do not have direct equivalent courses at LSUA. These courses may be used as free electives or your advisor may request a course substitution if appropriate.
