Parking

Our Auxiliary Services Office is responsible for overseeing all campus parking policies, vehicle registration, and ticket appeals. With nearly 2,500 parking spaces across campus, we strive to maintain safe and accessible parking facilities for all.

All students, faculty, and staff who park on campus must register their vehicle with Auxiliary Services and obtain an LSUA parking decal. Visitor parking permits are available for short-term use. Visitors must obtain a temporary parking permit from the Auxiliary Services Office to avoid a parking citation.

Parking Rules and Regulations

• Vehicle Registration: All vehicles parked on campus must be registered with the Office of Auxiliary Services and must display a valid parking decal. Decals should be hung from the center mirror and must be fully visible from the front window of the vehicle.

• Registration Fees: The fee for each vehicle registration is $56.00 per academic year (fall, spring, summer). Students enrolling in the Summer only will be charged $28.00 per vehicle. This fee will be added directly to your student account.

• Designated Parking Spaces: All vehicles must be parked within the lines of designated parking spaces. Students, faculty, and staff will be ticketed for parking in spaces reserved for visitors. The University reserves the right to designate specific parking areas for particular purposes. Student permits are valid only in areas designated for student parking.

• Prohibited Areas: Parking on streets or grass is strictly prohibited.

Vehicle Registration

LSUA faculty, staff, and students can conveniently obtain their parking decal by submitting the required information through the MyLSUA portal. Parking permits will be mailed to the address on file. Please allow up to two weeks for your decal to arrive.

Required Information:

• Make and model of your vehicle

• Year of the vehicle

• Color of the vehicle

• License plate number

By submitting the registration vehicle form, you certify that the information provided is accurate, and understand that the vehicle registration fee will be added to your account.
