Bachelor of Arts in English

Students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English degree will master the ability to write in a variety of genres and to read and interpret a variety of texts, both literary and literal. Our students have numerous opportunities to write poetry, fiction drama, and creative non-fiction as well as have their work published in on and off campus publications. Students will also study literary genres within the context of literary history, literary theory, and the history of ideas. Our students go on to a variety of professional schools and careers including as published authors.
