The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) is the world’s largest radiologic science association, providing certification resources, continuing education, and professional advocacy to support imaging and radiation therapy professionals.
Membership is open to any LSU Alexandria student who has a declared major in pre-RADT or RADT.
A leading credentialing organization, ARRT offers certification and registration in a wide range of radiologic disciplines, helping people who work in medical imaging and radiation therapy to develop their careers.
A board of examiners with regulatory authority responsible for examining, licensing and regulating qualified applicants as Radiologic technologists and to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public from the misuse of ionizing radiation.
The only organization recognized by the USDE and the CHEA for the accreditation of traditional and distance delivery educational programs in radiography, radiation therapy, magnetic resonance, and medical dosimetry.
