A seamless transfer into the LSU College of Engineering
Earn an Associate of Science (AS) from LSUA to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering at the LSU College of Engineering.
Qualifications
Complete 30 transferable academic credit hours
Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
Complete prerequisite credits in college-level Math and English
Complete 36 core Pre-Engineering courses or achieve a 60-hour Associate Science degree
Benefits
Upon successfully completing the necessary coursework at LSUA with a qualifying GPA, students will be admitted to LSU as sophomores in one of the specified engineering majors.

Complete prerequisite courses at LSUA and earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Dental Hygiene from the LSU Health New Orleans School of Dentistry.
Qualifications
Complete 60 credit hours of prerequisite courses at LSUA
80 hours of shadowing in a dental office
Achieve a minimum of a 20 ACT composite score
Complete the ATDH exam
Complete prerequisite science courses in person within five years or less. Other prerequisite courses can be as old as ten years.

Earn an Associate of Science (AS) in Respiratory Care from LSUE in central Louisiana to pursue your Bachelor of Science (BS) in Respiratory Care at LSUA and practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
Qualifications
Complete up to 37 of the 39 prerequisites at LSUA.
Once 39 prerequisites are completed with a 2.0 or higher, including an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher, submit a Respiratory Care Selection Application with all required documents no later than March 1st of the year for which selection is being sought. (Transfer students or students from other programs with prerequisites have until July 1st.)
Science and Math prerequisite courses, seven (7) years or older, must be repeated and successfully completed with a grade of “C” or better prior to selection.
Meet the requirements of the Respiratory Care discipline in the Respiratory Care Student Handbook and the ADA requirements in the Student Orientation Manual.
Complete a pre-entrance standardized admission examination.

Qualifications
Be fully admitted as a student to LSU Eunice.
Submit a Surgical Technology Selection Application and required documents no later than April 30th.
Complete each pre-requisite course with a grade of C or better with a cumulative minimum GPA of 2.5.
Science and Math prerequisite courses, seven (7) years or older, must be repeated and successfully completed with a grade of “C” or better prior to selection.
Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

Earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from LSUA to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) at the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine.
Qualifications
High school senior actively involved in FFA or 4-H programs
Resident of rural Louisiana
Hands-on experience with food animals, veterinary medicine, or production medicine with an interest in pursuing a career in rural animal medicine or food animal production medicine
Minimum 3.5 GPA at the time of graduation
Minimum 25 on the ACT
Completed application, including three letters of reference. (One reference letter must be from a 4H agent or an FFA advisor.)
