The Certificate in Pharmacy Technology program is designed to provide students with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to pursue a career as a pharmacy technician in the health care system. Students will not only develop oral and written communication skills needed for the workplace, they will also acquire skills related to pharmacology, law, calculations, and pharmacy management. Students who successfully complete the program and pass the national certification examination may apply for positions in hospitals, clinics, medical practices, and retail settings.
