The LSUA Police Department Toy Drive was a large success.

Members of the LSUA Police Department will be distributing toys to local children in the days leading up to Christmas.

The police will be at Rapides Regional Medical Center on Thursday, December 21 to give toys to children who are spending their holiday in the hospital.  They will also distribute toys over the weekend to children at St. Francis Cabrini Hospital as well as at the Louisiana Training Institute and Hope House.

This year, the police collected over 100 toys for children of all ages thanks to the combined efforts of LSUA employees and students as well as university contractors.
