Surviving College: Getting the Most out of Microsoft Word

Get the most out of Microsoft Word and prepare yourself for college classes.

LSUA’s Continuing Education Department presents Surviving College: Tips and Tricks to Get the Most out of College. 

High school and college students are encouraged to sign up for this class featuring a Microsoft Word 2013 Toolkit and all the means they need to survive college classes.

Classes run Tuesday, August 1st through Thursday, August 3rd and feature different topics. The first class centers on organization and making sure documents are in order, the second class concentrates on document editing, and the third covers how to correctly source material for college papers.

Each class runs from 5:30pm until 8:30pm and will be held in the Technology Center Building at LSUA. 

The cost is $49 per night or all three classes can be bundled for $139. The class does require a $30 textbook that is available for purchase through the Continuing Education Department.
