LSUA to Host Hurricane Preparedness Talk

Learn more about hurricane forecasting and this upcoming season.

LSUA is proud to host a National Weather Service Hurricane Preparedness Talk just in time for the upcoming hurricane season.

Roger Erickson with the National Weather Service in Lake Charles will discuss the upcoming hurricane season forecast, new forecasting tools and how to prepare in case of a storm.

The event will be held in the Coughlin Hall Auditorium at LSUA on Wednesday, April 26 at 2:00pm. It is free and open to the public.

    Students who want to accelerate their college experience can begin taking fast-track courses this fall at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish. The four- and eight-week courses will be offered by LSU Alexandria.
