Cavanaugh Lecture Series

The first speaker for the spring Cavanaugh Lecture Series is set.

Eric Alai, an Instructor of English from LSUA, will be the first speaker in the spring Cavanaugh Lecture Series.

Alai has won multiple awards for his short stories and poems, including two First Place awards in the Galesburg’s Public Library Annual Creative Writing Contest. Other awards include an Honorable Mention in the 26th Carl Sandburg College Poetry Competition and an Anne Keaton Scholarship Award for Promising Writers from Illinois State University.

The reading will take place on Tuesday, January 17 at 6:00pm in the Alexandria Museum of Art. It is free and open to the public.
