LSUA to Hold Fall Commencement

LSUA's Fall Commencement will be Thursday, December 15.

LSU of Alexandria will hold its Fall Commencement Ceremony in the Alexandria Riverfront Center on Thursday, December 15 at 10:00am.

A total of 170 degrees will be conferred in the ceremony presided over by LSUA Interim Chancellor Dr. Haywood Joiner.  In all, 114 bachelor’s degrees, 56 associate degrees and one certificate in Pharmacy Technology will be awarded. A total of 62 degrees will be conferred within the College of Arts & Sciences, with 108 degrees and one certificate within the College of Professional Studies.

Valencia Sarpy Jones will serve as the commencement speaker. Jones is a member of the LSU Board of Supervisors and a financial services professional with New York Life Insurance Company & NYLIFE Securities. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from LSU.
