ROTC Classes at LSUA Are Now Available

LSUA students interested in participating in ROTC can now sign up for classes.

LSUA students interested in participating in ROTC may now register for Military Science courses beginning this fall.

LSUA ROTC students will take Military Physical Fitness courses at the LSUA campus and all other ROTC courses will be taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Natchitoches at Northwestern State University of Louisiana.

Students may be eligible for the Army ROTC Scholarship.  It is worth approximately $5,400 for tuition, $1,200 for books, all fees and a monthly allowance.

Participants must be between the ages of 17 and 30, be enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program, have at least two years of school remaining, a cumulative GPA of 2.7, be able to pass the Army Physical Fitness Test, have no civil convictions and have no more than three dependents.

    Students who want to accelerate their college experience can begin taking fast-track courses this fall at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish. The four- and eight-week courses will be offered by LSU Alexandria.
