LSUA Athletics Debut New Logo

by Sarah Black | May 30, 2014
A new logo has been created for the LSUA Generals.

The LSUA Generals are proud to reveal a rebranding of the athletic department.  Beginning today, the new marks are to be used with LSUA Athletics.

The marks incorporate the new purple and gold as well as a militaristic font that is representative of the military history of central Louisiana and the word Generals.

“We are very excited about this new look.  The new Generals logo and colors are powerful and make a statement.  The student athletes are excited about the new look and colors and we believe they will be an added benefit to the university,” said Athletic Director Charlie Zeilman.

The new marks are part of an overall university rebranding and in conjunction with the One LSU initiative aimed at bringing the campuses closer together.  The academic marks were changed in January 2014.

Graphic designers at LSU created the athletic logos.
