Children's Center Celebrates Anniversary

The LSUA Children's Center is set to celebrate its 15-year anniversary.

The LSUA Children’s Center is celebrating their 15th anniversary by holding a reception on Monday, June 9 from 3:00pm-4:30pm.

Former directors, children and parents are all welcome to attend the event where refreshments will be served and a time capsule opened.  

The LSUA Children’s Center is a licensed early care and educational facility that accepts children between the ages of 12 months to five years. It is one of a select group in the state to have earned a rating of four out of five stars and is the only center in Rapides Parish with a four-star rating.

    In accordance with Act 399 passed by the 2013 Legislature and signed into law by Governor Jindal on June 17, 2013. LSUA is required to place all delinquent accounts with the Louisiana State Attorney General’s Office.
  • LSU Alexandria offers accelerated courses at LCRP

    Students who want to accelerate their college experience can begin taking fast-track courses this fall at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish. The four- and eight-week courses will be offered by LSU Alexandria.
