Nursing Pinning Ceremony Held

LSUA Nursing Department held their annual pinning ceremony this week.

The LSU of Alexandria Nursing Department held its annual Pinning Ceremony on Wednesday, May 14. 

The ceremony honored the Spring 2014 Associate of Science in Nursing candidates. 

Those candidates included: Elena Bordelon, Scott Brouillette, Mattie Cruse, Sherry Dauzat, Erin DeLill, Elizabeth Dickerson, Jordan Fletcher, Curtis Hilton, Kandace Jeansonne, Heather Klock, Lacey Laborde, Angela Laborde, April McGowan, Jamie Mistrot, Kaycie Posey, Amy Basco-Savant, Lindiann Scallan, Haley Taylor, Katherine Tujague, Brittany Tuma and Kayla Whittington. 

Ms. Sandra Duck, MSN, RN was the keynote speaker for the ceremony which also included comments from Dr. Dan Howard and Dr. Barbara Hatfield.

    Students who want to accelerate their college experience can begin taking fast-track courses this fall at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish. The four- and eight-week courses will be offered by LSU Alexandria.
