Lady Generals Win Numerous Awards

The LSUA Lady Generals Softball Team wins numerous A.I.I. awards.

The LSUA Lady Generals recently won big at the Association of Independent Institutions Conference Softball Championship Banquet.

In all, LSUA had one player named Co-Player of the Year, five players named 1st Team All-Conference and two players named 2nd Team All-Conference.

Additionally, LSUA Head Softball Coach Charlie Zeilman was selected as Coach of the Year.

LSUA outfielder Brooke Thomas was named Co-Player of the Year along with Georgia Gwinnett’s Cassidy Littlefield.

Those making the 1st Team All-Conference include: Logan Hebert, pitcher; Raquel Granados, catcher; Kaylee Prather, infielder; Brooke Thomas, outfielder; and Julinn Torres, outfielder.

Infielder Taylor Simon and designated player Heather Bunn were named 2nd Team All-Conference.

The LSUA Lady Generals are currently in Lawrenceville, Georgia for the A.I.I. Conference Tournament. They are the number one seed with an overall record of 28-3.  The tournament begins today.

    In accordance with Act 399 passed by the 2013 Legislature and signed into law by Governor Jindal on June 17, 2013. LSUA is required to place all delinquent accounts with the Louisiana State Attorney General’s Office.
  • LSU Alexandria offers accelerated courses at LCRP

    Students who want to accelerate their college experience can begin taking fast-track courses this fall at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish. The four- and eight-week courses will be offered by LSU Alexandria.
