LSUA Spirit Week is set for next week with plenty of music, fun, food and spirit!

A fun week of activities is planned for LSU of Alexandria next week as students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends will be celebrating Spirit Week.

The fun gets kicked off on Monday with “Mad Hatter Monday.”  From noon until 1:00pm on the LSUA Quad, students will have a chance to partake in food, music and fun while meeting senior members of the LSUA baseball and softball teams at the same time.

On “Tough Tuesday” which is Camo Day, students will get the opportunity to create a spirit wall. Students will be able to make posters on the LSUA Quad showing their support for their LSUA Generals!  The event takes place on the Quad from 11:00am until 2:00pm.

The Kick Butts Day Kick Ball Game hosted by Fresh Campus is set for “Wacky Wednesday”, March 19th on the LSUA Quad. The game will last from noon until 1:00pm and feature students taking each other on in fun bout of kick ball.

A Generals Pep Rally is scheduled on “Throw Back Thursday” from 12:20pm-1:00pm on the Quad.  Students will cheer on the baseball team as they get prepared to face Spring Hill College in a weekend series. Students will also show their support for the Lady Generals and the great campaign they have going this season.

On “Fired Up Friday,” students, faculty, staff and community members are ask to wear LSUA paraphernalia and invited to campus for a tailgate beginning at 3:30pm.  The tailgate will take place at Generals Field and there will be something for everyone with a rock climbing wall, food and fun.  Participants are then invited to watch the Generals take on Spring Hill College at 6:30pm on the baseball diamond. Anyone that would like to setup and tailgate with us should contact Kyra Turner in the office of Student Support at 318-473-6545.
