10th Annual LSUA Thanksgiving Psychology Forum

The 10th Annual LSUA Thanksgiving Psychology Forum will be held on November 27.

LSU Alexandria will hold the 10th Annual Thanksgiving Psychology Forum on Wednesday, November 27, in the Brumfield Caffey Annex Ballroom.  The event lasts from 11:00am-12:30pm.

This year’s keynote speaker is Bambi Polotzola, an educator and advocate for individuals with and without disabilities and former Project Facilitator for the LA Autism Spectrum and Related Disabilities Project.  As a mother of a child with autism, Polotzola will be speaking on the condition.  She is also the founder of St. Landry Abilities, a non-profit focused on improving opportunities for people with different abilities in St. Landry Parish. 

The event is free and open to the public.  Refreshments will be provided.

Participants are asked to bring non-perishable food items for the Food Bank of Central Louisiana.

    In accordance with Act 399 passed by the 2013 Legislature and signed into law by Governor Jindal on June 17, 2013. LSUA is required to place all delinquent accounts with the Louisiana State Attorney General’s Office.

    Students who want to accelerate their college experience can begin taking fast-track courses this fall at the Learning Center for Rapides Parish. The four- and eight-week courses will be offered by LSU Alexandria.
