Central Louisiana Leadership Class Graduation

The Rotary Club of Alexandria welcomed the most recent graduates of LSUA's Continuing Education Leadership Central Louisiana.

The Rotary Club of Alexandria welcomed graduates of the LSUA Continuing Education Leadership Central Louisiana class at its weekly meeting on Tuesday, August 27.

The class is a community leadership program whose objective is to educate and inform a group of potential or current leaders within our community about the many different and important elements of the community.

The intended outcome is that after program completion, graduates will connect with a part of the community that is meaningful to them and will in turn volunteer their time and energy to make this community a better place to live and work.

This year’s graduates include: Gerry Foster, Leslie Guadagnoli, Kelly Horton, Amy Mabou, Joel Miller, Chris Moreau, Marleen Poe, Kathy Rabalais, Mark Rills, Brandy Saucier, Beth Whittington, and Cade Young.

Participants attend eight one day workshops with one workshop offered monthly beginning in January of each year.

Those who demonstrate an interest and capacity for leadership, have a willingness to enhance leadership skills and have a passion for becoming involved in the community may consider participating.  Program alumni can be found in every major sector including: government, professional, corporate, finance, healthcare, industry and more.

LSUA’s Continuing Education is accepting new applicants for the upcoming Leadership class until November 22.  For more information, call 473-6495.
