LSU Alexandria’s department of financial aid will conduct two financial aid workshops to communicate with prospective and current students and parents about recent changes in student aid and the impact of those changes.

The workshops will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, July 13, and at 6 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2013. Both will be held in the Bayou Robert Room on LSU Alexandria’s campus. Each session should last approximately one hour.

Topics of discussion will include recent changes in student loan interest rates and new regulations for student financial aid that take effect during the 2013-14 school year.

The workshops are free and open to the public. The Bayou Robert Room is located on the second floor of the LSU Alexandria Student Center on Middleton Drive. A map of the campus can be found here: http://www.lsua.edu/Libraries/General_Site_Documents/CampusMap_Brochure.sflb.ashx
