LSUA offers several tutoring services for students. If you need assistance with one of your courses, please consult the schedules below to see if you can find a time to meet with a tutor. 

Tutoring Schedules

The Writing Center

Location: LSUA Bolton Library, 1st Floor

On-Campus Hours:

  • Mondays 10:00am - 4:30pm
  • Tuesdays: 11:00am - 2:00pm
  • Wednesdays: 10:00am - 4:30pm
  • Thursdays: 11:00am - 4:00pm

Virtual Hours:

Online Tutoring

As an LSUA enrolled student, you will receive 10 free hours of online tutoring each semester through Thinkingstorm.

This service provides convenient and comprehensive online support for topics with Math, Writing, Science, Business, Statistics, and more. Thinkingstorm services can be accessed from any internet connected computer via your MyLSUA account and Moodle.

Accessing Online Tutoring

LSUA students can access ThinkingStorm's online tutoring services from two convenient locations:

1. Moodle

  • Login to Moodle and open one of your courses.
  • Click on the Online Tutoring link in your course menu to automatically login to ThinkingStorm.

2. MyLSUA

  • Login to your MyLSUA portal.
  • Click the Student tab and select Online Tutoring.
