Students following the concentration in sports broadcasting within the Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies will earn hands-on experience by providing live television and internet broadcasts of LSUA athletic events. LSUA recently purchased a complete broadcasting truck and students run cameras, audio, and control the entire broadcast of home games. Students have plenty of additional opportunities for hands-on experience and learn from professors who are experts in their field while being fully prepared to pursue a career in sports broadcasting.
