Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education
LSUA's Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education is a comprehensive 4-year program that prepares students for Certified Louisiana Teacher Licensure in grades 1-5. This degree combines rigorous academic coursework with practical, hands-on training. Students complete required Field Experience hours in 3000-level EDCI courses and participate in a yearlong residency during 4000-level EDCI courses. Offering both in-person and 100% online options, the program provides flexibility to accommodate various schedules. Under the guidance of experienced faculty, future educators develop the skills and knowledge necessary to create engaging, impactful learning environments for young students.
