Description
LSUA is proud to announce that the annual MLK Luncheon in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will take place on Monday January 28, 2013 in the Brumfield Caffey Annex. Doors open at 11:30, program begins at noon. The year’s theme “Living King’s Legacy: The Future is Now” will be celebrated by ESPN’s 2010 Boys’ Basketball Coach of the Year, Coach Charles Smith of the Peabody Warriors. Members of the New Scott Olly Choir Baptist Church Choir will entertain with gospel songs.
Outback Steakhouse will provide steak dinners. Tickets are $10.00 each. Please call Sally Cowan to make your reservations at 473-6446. All proceeds from this annual event support the Coughlin Saunders Talented Tenth and the Ebony Award Scholarships.
