First Time Freshmen - Admissions Criteria

Under 25 Years of Age
Graduates of 2012 or 2013
- Completion of Core 4 Curriculum http://regents.louisiana.gov/assets/docs/Data/AdmStds200912.pdf
- Minimum overall HS GPA of 2.0 or greater
- Require no more than one developmental course by having one of the following:
  - ACT English sub-score of 18 or greater OR COMPASS Writing score of 68 OR
  - ACT mathematics sub-score of 19 or greater OR COMPASS Algebra score of 40
- One of the following:
  - High School GPA on CORE of 2.0 or greater
  - ACT Composite of 20 or greater
Graduates 2014 and beyond
- Completion of Core 4 Curriculum http://regents.louisiana.gov/assets/docs/Data/AdmStds200912.pdf
- Minimum overall HS GPA of 2.0 or greater
- Require no developmental courses by having both:
  - ACT English sub-score of 18 or greater OR COMPASS Writing score of 68 AND
  - ACT mathematics sub-score of 19 or greater OR COMPASS Algebra score of 40
- One of the following:
  - High School GPA on CORE of 2.0 or greater
  - ACT Composite of 20 or greater
25 Years of Age or Older
Before Fall 2014

Students in this age range qualify for open admission.There are no minimum requirements.

Fall 2014 and After

Adult students must not require developmental coursework based on the following:
- ACT English subscore of 18 or greater OR COMPASS Writing score of 68 or higher AND
- ACT mathematics subscore of 19 or greater OR COMPASS Algebra score of 40 or higher (within the last 3 years)
