Louisiana State University at Alexandria is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate and baccalaureate degrees. Louisiana State University at Alexandria also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. The Associate of Science in Nursing and the Bachelor of Science in Nursing are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN);
The Associate of Science in Medical Laboratory Science and the Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Science are accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Science (NAACLS);
The Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP);
